I just replied to an ad by "dreamer77". After being told I could have the item(s) I had asked for and they could hold it for me until the weekend to pickup (after all they live in Plattsmouth and this is an Omaha website - with gas prices so high I'm not going to make a special trip down there for a small item)I received a second EMail saying "someone else has just offered me more for the item and they can pick up sooner. Sorry". My thoughts are that this is unfair. I have bought and sold several things on this website but have never had any problems.
What are other people's thoughts on this? |

I completely agree with you. I had a similar situation happen with another seller.. She said someone had already inquired on the item I wanted, but if I wanted to make my offer HIGHER she would then sell it to me. I said "NO THANKS!". The no haggling is what I like most about this site. I price my things the same as I would a garage sell or even lower. I like that I can make someone feel like they got an awesome deal as in return I like to find those 'awesome' deals myself. Hopefully the majority of the users on this site feel the same as I. |
